This policy explains what HIHAUS collects when you use hihauswindowsdoors.com, why we collect it, who processes it, and how you can exercise your rights. It describes the website only — the terms of any quotation or supply contract are separate.

HIHAUS is the trading name of Guangdong Hihaus Building Materials Co., Ltd, a window and door manufacturer based at 2303, 23F Peace World Plaza, No. 362-366 Huanshi East Road, Yuexiu District, Guangzhou, China. What we collect
We collect only what is needed to answer an enquiry and to understand how the website is used.
- Enquiry details you submit: name, country or region, phone or WhatsApp number, email address and your message. If you attach drawings or specifications, those files are included.
- Technical data generated by your visit: IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring source, and campaign parameters such as gclid when you arrive from an advertisement.
- Analytics and session data described under Cookies below.
Why we process it
To respond to your enquiry, prepare quotations, provide technical support and manage an order if one follows. To measure whether our advertising and content are useful. To keep the website secure and prevent spam or abuse. We do not sell personal data, and we do not use enquiry details to build advertising profiles.
Who processes it
We use a small number of service providers, each acting on our instructions:
- SplitForms — form handling and storage of submissions, including notification emails to our sales team.
- Cloudflare — website hosting, content delivery and security.
- Google — Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads conversion measurement.
- Microsoft — Clarity session recordings and heatmaps.
- 51.LA — website traffic statistics, including visitor-level page paths.
- Our email provider, for correspondence.
Cookies and similar technologies
The site uses cookies and local storage set by the services above. They fall into three groups:
- Advertising and measurement: Google Ads conversion and click identifiers (for example _gcl_au), used to attribute an enquiry to the advertisement that produced it.
- Analytics: Google Analytics 4 and 51.LA identifiers, used for aggregate traffic and page-path reporting.
- Behavioural analytics: Microsoft Clarity identifiers (_clck, _clsk), used for session recordings and heatmaps. Inputs in form fields are masked in recordings.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking analytics cookies does not affect your ability to submit an enquiry, but it does prevent us from measuring which pages help buyers most.
International transfers
We are based in China and our service providers operate globally, so your data may be processed outside your country, including in the United States, the European Union and China. Where required, transfers rely on the standard contractual clauses offered by those providers.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept for as long as needed to serve you and to maintain a commercial record, and are deleted on request where no legal obligation requires us to keep them. Analytics data is retained according to each provider's default period. Server logs at our hosting provider are short-lived.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to processing, or receive it in a portable format. California residents may request disclosure of categories of personal information collected and may request deletion; we do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by the CCPA.
To exercise any right, email sales@hihausbm.com with the subject line Data request. We respond within 30 days and may ask you to verify your identity. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS. Form submissions are transmitted directly to our form processor over an encrypted connection. Access to submissions is limited to staff who need it to answer enquiries.
Children
This is a business website for buyers, specifiers and contractors. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.
Changes
If this policy changes materially we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
